| FAQ | Q. Will it fit my vehicle?A. This shift knob is designed to fit a wide variety of applications. It comes with a set of threaded adapters in the most common sizes for manual transmission vehicles: - M8 x 1.25 - M10 x 1.5 - M12 x 1.25 The knob itself has an internal M18 x 1.5 thread, so if the thread you need is not included, an adapter to that thread will work with the shift knobs for custom applications. This shift knob will not work with automatic shifters with push-button releases and may be incompatible with some vehicles with pull-up style reverse lockout mechanisms. We recommend confirming your vehicle's OEM specification for compatibility before purchasing. Q. How do I know it will fit?A. To confirm compatibility, we suggest checking the thread pitch of the shifter in your vehicle, then compare it to the adapters which are included in the kit. If the thread pitch of your shifter is not included as an adapter, we find that many customer will take the smaller adapter, drill it out to the proper size and tap it to the correct thread pitch. Q. How do you take out the adapter out of the shift knob?A. The knob itself has an internal M18 x 1.5 thread, so the adapter will thread directly into the shift knob. Removal of the adapter is the reverse, and it should thread out of the knob much like a nut/bolt assembly.
